Exclusive: Paige DeSorbo Chats With Cosmo About Her Summer House Beauty Hacks and Bed-Rotting Ritual (2025)

Paige DeSorbo is one of those celebs who embraces doing it all but also relishes doing nothing at all. She’s a reality TV icon turned fashion influencer and podcast host but also a self-proclaimed bed rotter.

I recently met up with Paige at the Baccarat Hotel (yes, it’s just as fancy as it sounds) to yap about all things summer beauty for so-called lazy girls like her. During our convo, she chatted with me about her go-to beauty products, spilled her Summer House makeup hacks, and talked about all things hair removal (including a very real laser hair removal flop from the 2010s).

And while this all might sound like best friend behavior, Paige and I had never met before this conversation. She’s just that cool and relatable IRL. Keep scrolling for our full convo—and an opportunity to shop all her summer beauty recs below.

What beauty advice have you learned from your housemates? Are there any tips or hacks you've gotten over the years?

When it comes to buying makeup, I usually hold off because I already know that Amanda [Batula, her Summer House costar] will probably buy it, so I’ll try hers first and then see if I want it. Amanda and I use a lot of the same products. Ciara [Miller, another Summer House star and Traitors alum] also put me onto the Clean Skin Club towels. You can literally buy them on Amazon to wipe off my makeup or wash my face with. I love them.

That leads to my next question: Are there any beauty products you’ve stolen or, better yet, “borrowed” for the whole summer?

Well, Amanda, Ciara, and I spend a lot of time getting ready together, so naturally things get jumbled together. So really, at the end of the summer, when we’re taking our things back home, I’m like, “Is that mine? I don’t know, let’s put it in my bag.” So I think I’ve definitely stolen a lot of different body sprays from Ciara from our bathroom. And she always has really good face wash and skincare products.

Speaking of skincare, I know we go to the same aesthetician, Madalaina Conti. She’s really helped my skin—I’m assuming she’s done the same for you?

Isn't Madalaina the best? She actually changed my life. I’ve gone to so many places where I’ve spent thousands of dollars on facials, but Madalaina can just give me a quick facial, and my skin is somehow always 10 times better?

Her voice and studio are also so zen.

I’m just like, “Can you just tell me another story while I lie under your LED?” I give all my friends her number and I’m like, “Okay, you’re gonna go to this girl’s apartment.”

Let’s talk about hair removal: Is anyone shaving or waxing anymore? Are we all lasering? Are you going to use this Braun Silk Expert Pro all summer so you don’t have to shave every day?

I’m an OG laser girl. I remember I was in eighth grade when it was first a thing, and I was like, “Mom, let’s jump on.” So I was previously fully lasered by a professional company, and obviously, the technology was not there. It was archaic and all my hair grew back. Now I never want to go back to a place to spend so much money to get professionally lasered—at-home is so much easier.

I feel you. I went to my local hair salon when I was a teenager to get my armpits lasered and it did nothing. It’s a girlhood rite of passage.

No, like, I can’t believe I let someone take a literal laser to my body. I feel like doing it myself is so much easier. Devices like Braun’s make it so easy.

What is the number one thing you tell people who might be scared to try these at-home devices?

Wait until you go on your first vacation and you don’t have to think about shaving your armpits or bikini line—it actually changes your whole life. But then, just regular day-to-day, I used to be a girl who shaved her legs every day. I hated the way any hair felt against my own legs, on my sheets, in my pants. So I’ve always been a very smooth gal. Now I’m doing it at home, it’s way better. I really don’t shave that much anymore.

Do you have any fashion or beauty icks for the summer? Besides prickly legs, of course.

I don’t think I have any icks, per se, I would say that I often get mad at myself over the summer for not putting on enough SPF. Is everyone putting sunscreen on every single day? I know that we’re supposed to be, but I’m definitely not doing it. That’s an ick against myself—I need to remember my sunscreen more. It’s important.

What beauty product do you use most during the summer?

In the summer, I think my makeup routine is a little bit different. I don’t like wearing a full foundation, so I really stick to just a concealer and then some blush. Recently, I’ve been loving the Saie Concealer. It is so lightweight and gives full coverage and more of a skincare vibe.

I love Saie too. And which blushes do you rely on?

I’m loving all the Rhode Pocket Blushes. I feel like celebrity brands get a bad rap, but I love all the Rhode products. I think the Barrier Cream truly changed my skin. I went to Miami, actually recently, and I burned my whole body. When I got back, my skin was so dehydrated and crackly. I only used Hailey’s barrier cream, and my skin was phenomenal after.

Oooh, noted. Do you have any beauty tips for while you’re on tour? Are you getting your makeup done every day or are you doing it yourself?

I do my own makeup so I can kind of manipulate what goes on my face. But one of my beauty hacks for tour was that I refused to wash my hair. I would always try hair cycling, just so I wouldn’t have to wash it. When we would go on tour, I would blow my hair out the night before and then keep that hair all weekend. By the last show, it was a slicked-back bun. I love a good hair cycle.

And as a fellow bed rotter, I need to know, what is your bed-rotting beauty must-have?

I just got the Shark LED Mask and I love it. I do a lot of castor oil packs at night, and I love the Skinny Confidential Mouth Tape and then the Medicube sleep mask. That’s what’s on my night side table right now. The only thing I haven’t mastered is heatless curls. That’s too Gen Z for me.
